Welcome to the website of Alberta Katherine Magazine. It is my hope that you are in good health and good spirits.

Perhaps you know that nine editions of the print version of Alberta Katherine Magazine were published between January 2007 and May 2008. Each edition of the magazine cost $8,000 to produce. My husband, Darrell, and I had a vision to give Jacksonville a high quality Christian lifestyle magazine for free. For most months, we sustained a minimum $5,000 loss.

In late May of this year, we made the very difficult decision to convert Alberta Katherine Magazine into an e-zine, a 100% web based product. We have also decided to apply for not for profit status. The cost of converting the website is over $3,000.00, and the cost of applying for not for profit status is approximately $2,000.00 We have refunded all money due to advertisers and subscribers, and the magazine’s bank account has a $100 balance.

We are asking our readers and supporters to prayerfully consider making a donation to Alberta Katherine Magazine to help retire the debt from the print version and to contribute to the cost of the e-zine and the not for profit status. A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
